Coil — Refund & Cancellation Policy

Version 1.0 — effective 2026-08-23

Short version: you can cancel at any time, and cancelling always stops the next charge. We do not refund a billing period that has already started.

1. Cancelling

You can cancel from Account & billing inside Coil, at any time, without contacting anyone and without giving a reason.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. You keep full access until then — you paid for it — and your account moves to the free plan afterwards. Nothing is deleted: your watchlist and settings remain, and resubscribing restores paid access.

2. Refunds

We do not refund a billing period once it has begun. Coil's value is delivered daily from the moment a period starts, and the free plan exists precisely so you can judge the service before paying.

We will refund in full in these cases:

If your case is not on this list but you believe it is genuinely unfair, write to us. A policy is not a reason to stop thinking.

3. How to request one

Email the address on the Contact page with the payment date and the amount. We aim to reply within 3 working days.

4. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method via Razorpay. Razorpay typically settles in 5–7 working days; the exact timing is your bank's, not ours.

5. Price changes

If we change the price of a plan, the new price applies from your next renewal, never retroactively, and we will tell you before it takes effect. You can cancel before that renewal if you do not want to continue at the new price.

6. Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, Razorpay retries. Your access continues while retries are in progress. If the retries are exhausted, the subscription stops and your account moves to the free plan. You can subscribe again at any time.

7. What a subscription buys

Access to Coil's software for the period paid. It does not buy investment advice, and no outcome in the market is promised or implied — see the Disclaimer & Terms of Use.
